Introduction:

"We are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Ryan and Megan.  

Ryan was raised on the Outer Banks of North Carolina by his loving parents, Randy and Cathy Latta, before moving to Raleigh where he attended college.

Megan was raised in Welling Oklahoma by her wonderful parents, Koy and Belle Isaacs, and attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.

It is an amazing thing to see when two people find one another half way across the country, fall in love, and get married.  Truly these two were destined to find one another."

Giving of the Bride:
"Will Megan's father and mother please stand?"
"Who gives this woman to be married to this man?"

Dad: "Her mother and I do."

Address the congregation:
"Marriage is a holy institution put in place by God.  Marriage is a promise of dedication, sacrifice, and devotion that is shared between two people.  Everything that defines marriage is an echo of one common theme: Love.  In ICorinthians 13, it is written: 'Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never ends.'"


Vows:

"Ryan and Megan, please join hands.  Ryan, repeat after me: All that I am and all that I have, I offer to you in love and in joy. (break) From this day forward I will love and comfort you, hold you close(break), thank God for every day He has given us together, and remain faithful to you all the days of our lives.
Megan, repeat after me:  All that I am and all that I have, I offer to you in love and in joy. (break) From this day forward I will love and comfort you, hold you close(break), thank God for every day He has given us together, and remain faithful to you all the days of our lives.



Rings:

"These rings are a symbol of the never-ending love you have promised each other.  Ryan, please place this ring on Megan's left hand.  Megan, please place this ring on Ryan's left hand."

Binding of hands:

"Now I will bind together the hands of Ryan and Megan to symbolize the intertwining of their lives in marriage and in love.  May God bless them as they begin their life together as one."

Prayer:
(John leads everyone in a short appropriate prayer).

Conclusion:

"This concludes our ceremony.  Thank you all for coming.  Please stand and join me in celebrating the union of Megan and Ryan Latta and their new life together!  You may now kiss the bride!"

(Everyone stands and claps, Bridal party exits)
